Crayon Pixie Hat: Adult Size

This adorable back to school pixie hat features a fun crayon design sure to make a statement.

Are you bright?  Are you dull?  Maybe full of glitter?  If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

I love a good group costume for Halloween, and until my kids fight me I will continue to dress them in matching or themed outfits.  Last year we were the three little pigs and the big bad wolf, and the year before goldilocks and the three bears.  This year my four year old decided that we needed to be a box of crayons.  At first I tried to talk her out of it, offering many suggestions, but it slowly grew on me.

As I searched my beloved Pinterest I found lots of inspiration for the crayon group costume, but only two crocheted crayon hats.  This is unacceptable, so I grabbed my hook and created the Crayon Pixie Hat!  It turned our perfect for our costume (look for me on Instagram to catch the family photo) and plan to rock it for back to school season next year.
